Privacy Policy

LabelLoom (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a barcode label printing application for retail merchants, provided by PJR Applications. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, stored, and protected, and your rights regarding that data. If you have any questions, email us at support@labelloom.app.
01 What LabelLoom does
LabelLoom helps merchants design and print barcode labels for their products. To do this, it reads your product and variant information from your store and can write generated barcodes back to your product variants. It does not access your customers’ personal information, your orders, or your payment data.
02 Information we access and store
When you install and use LabelLoom, we access and/or store the following, solely to provide the app’s functionality:
Store and product data (read from your store)
- Your store’s domain (for example, your-store.myshopify.com)
- Product and variant details: titles, variant options, SKUs, prices, vendor, and barcodes
Data written back to your store
- Barcodes the app generates for product variants — only where a barcode is missing; existing barcodes are never overwritten
Data the app stores in its own database
- The secure authentication token that lets the app connect to your store
- Label templates and print settings you create
- A count of labels generated, used to apply plan limits
We do not collect, access, or store:
- Customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, or any customer personal data
- Order information
- Payment card or banking information
03 How we use this information
We use the information only to:
- Display your products and variants inside the app
- Generate and write barcodes to your variants
- Save your label templates and settings
- Apply free and paid plan limits
- Provide support when you contact us
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing, and we do not use your data to train machine-learning models.
04 Where your data is stored and how it’s protected
LabelLoom is hosted on Render, with its database located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). All data transmitted between your browser, the platform, and the app is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to the database is restricted to the app itself.
05 Service providers (sub-processors)
We rely on the following providers to operate the app:
- Shopify — provides the platform and the data the app reads and writes
- Render — provides application hosting and database storage
06 Data retention and deletion
We keep your data only for as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall LabelLoom, we receive the platform’s shop/redact request (sent roughly 48 hours after uninstall) and delete your store’s data — session, templates, and label counts — from our database.
The app also responds to the mandatory privacy webhooks:
- customers/data_request — LabelLoom stores no customer personal data, so there is no customer data to provide.
- customers/redact — LabelLoom stores no customer personal data, so there is no customer data to delete.
- shop/redact — your store’s stored data is deleted, as described above.
You can also request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@labelloom.app.
07 Your rights
Depending on where you are (including under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. As LabelLoom holds store and account data rather than personal customer data, these requests typically concern your store’s session and settings. To exercise any right, email support@labelloom.app.
08 Cookies
The app uses only the essential session cookies needed to keep you securely signed in while you use it inside the admin. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
09 Children’s privacy
LabelLoom is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be reflected here.
